Heroes bring the soul back into the manufactured robot that has become hip-hop. With a positive prose they positively oppose the approaching throws of our changing planet. They wield uniqueness and intelligence to pry open the eyelids and earlobes of the masses. Dusty Grin and Tone of the Cosmos are master wordsmiths, spewing into microphones endless reservoirs of what they have deemed “knowledge.” Behind the scenes, OMNI lays tracks smoother than the monorail, and polishes the inner workings of this now well-oiled machine. With the release of their forth album, Return Prophets, Heroes are looking forward to showing Austin the true meaning of hip-hop.

The members have been working together since 2002, and all quickly realized the potential of the group. With each member growing in their own direction, complete vertical integration took place. Heroes, through their Offspring Pretendagenda Records, have taking complete control of their music. They keep it pure and organic, no outside hands are allowed into this equation, all projects are done together with careful precision and unanimity. There is of course a lighter side to Heroes, one of Tecate with lime, Frisbees, and all the sarcastic madness that comes from growing up in the suburbs. Keep it different. Keep it real. Resist Much. Obey Little.
