CARLY WOLF
Carley Wolf was born a performer, in Fredericksburg Texas, performing in choirs and dance recitals since she was three years old. She began taking piano lessons at age eight, while continuing to sing in the Fredericksburg Children’s Chorale. She picked up the guitar at age 11 and not long after she wrote her first original song. Carley formed The Clabber Girls when she was 15 which was a three piece, all girl band that played in Fredericksburg and Johnson City. At age 17 she moved to Houston and got together with three seasoned musicians who backed her up in The Carley Darlynn Band. They played originals and old school rockabilly music all around Houston and Austin. Some of the highlights include the Westheimer Street Festival, Rudyards, the Mucky Duck, and the Black Cat Lounge. She has won five talent shows and has been featured on Deborah Duncan’s Morning Show in a special showcase titled "Houston’s Great Talent."
Carley moved to San Marcos in 2003 and is studying sound recording technology and classical guitar performance at Texas State University. Her current band Blue Moon was formed in 2004 and plays in San Marcos and Austin. They play a mixture of original gypsy folk rock tunes and bluegrass style traditionals. With solid three-part harmonies, passionate melodies, and true emotion pouring out of the musicians on stage, it is always a great show. They will make you dance. They will make you laugh. They will even make you cry. Sometimes even all at once!!
Carley Wolf would love to perform for you. She is available for solo
acoustic acts: vocals, acoustic guitar, stand up bass, and mandolin
and full band acts: vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric
bass, drums, and keys. She will also perform solo accompanying herself
with guitar or piano.
