This Austin based aural affinity recently fully formed in 2005, claiming headlining shows around central Texas. The Apse Affinity is a four piece melodic rock band that melds unique sounds together into a distinctive blend of insightful ass kicking. They have been successful in merging traditional Latin and Middle Eastern influences into an original modern rock sound that still plays nice with radio stations. Whether it's tweeking a guitar tone in a home studio or sitting on a crows nest near the Blanco River contemplating their next song, this band will create no boundaries in finding new directions, concepts, textures, sounds, and moods.
We have recently released our first EP, titled "The Existence
of Color", and you can now get it right here. It will also be available
at Tower Records, Best Buy, iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, MSN Music, Sony
Connect, and many more coming soon. We're trying to sell these as cheaply
as possible, so I'd suggest picking your's up at a show for $5, to avoid
any markups retailers might have.
